In 1959, Irving Ellman, DDS, a general dentist and electrical engineer founded Ellman Dental Manufacturing Company. He proceeded to develop fifty patented devices for use in his dental practice. One of his first 'inventions,' Roto Pros™ - Rotosonic Scalers, is still one of the Company's most popular products.
